Program Information

Fees
Application Fee
- A one-time, non-refundable $75 Application Fee is required for new students who have not previously applied.
Administrative Registration Fee
- A $225 Administrative Registration Fee is charged once per trimester and includes:
- Administrative processing
- Attendance records
- Student and instructor evaluation forms
- Zoom platform fees
- Coordination of lecture and group process classes
Tuition
- $900 per trimester (subject to enrollment and class size).
Students may enroll in one, two, or all three trimesters, depending on their educational goals.
Program Structure
Each trimester includes:
- Two weekly classes (one Tuesday evening and one Thursday evening, Eastern Time)
- Twelve weeks of instruction
- Lecture courses and experiential group process classes
Students are responsible for arranging and paying for their own individual clinical supervision and personal psychotherapy, when applicable.
Program Completion
Upon successful completion of the curriculum, students receive a Letter of Completion documenting their participation in PPSI’s psychoanalytic psychotherapy training program. PPSI does not issue certificates.
International Students
Students are responsible for providing a translator, if needed, to facilitate communication between instructors and students unless alternative arrangements are made by PPSI.
Attendance
Students may miss up to two classes per trimester.
Continuing Education
No Continuing Education (CE) credits are offered, and participation does not guarantee approval by the International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies (IFPS).
